About the Principal
Blackhorse Analytics was founded by Scott Huffman, CFA. Scott has more than 25 years experience in investment management and financial research. He has worked with individual and institutional clients throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.
Scott specializes in quantitative investment research and earnings quality analysis. As a portfolio manager and director of quantitative research, he has designed, tested, and implemented equity investment strategies for hedge funds, asset management firms, and mutual funds. His research has been featured in various U.S. and foreign publications, including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Barron’s, BusinessWeek, Fortune, Capital, and on CNBC and the PBS TV program “Wall $treet Week.”
Scott holds an MBA in Finance and Accounting from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business (Chicago, Illinois), a BS in Engineering with concentration in Economics from the United States Military Academy (West Point, New York), and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
